Our SEND Team

Meet the team!

Mrs D. Wedge – SENCO

My name is Mrs Wedge, and I have been a SENCO for over 12 years. I am passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and ensuring that they receive high quality education, regardless of their need.

I am available every afternoon from 12.45pm, either by telephone on 0121 366 6182, or by email send@mv.lighthousefederation.com

In my spare time, I enjoy photography, walking, castles, steam trains, Pokémon and playing with my two little cats!

Sonny - Dog Mentor

My name is Sonny, and I am 4 years old. I live with Mrs Adair and I come into school a few days a week. I help children to regulate their emotions, to teach them how to be calm and to use appropriate tone.

In my spare time I enjoy chasing squirrels and running after my ball. And lots of fuss and treats of course!

Mrs V. Jones - Learning Support Assistant

My name is Mrs Jones; I have been a learning support assistant at Meadow View JMI for nearly 10 years, working with our wonderful children with SEND.

My passion is to bring out the best in every child I work with and help them find their “superpower”. I encourage the children to have fun while they learn, and I am partial to a funny joke or two!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
