Early Years

Our Vision for Early Years
At Meadow View Academy, we acknowledge the importance of ‘quality’ in the Early Years Foundation Stage and believe in providing all children with a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that builds on the needs and interests of all children.
We provide children with a wide range of opportunities to learn through play and ensure that both adult and child- led learning are fun, engaging and suitably challenging.
We value the importance of outdoor learning and ensure children have a wealth of opportunities to develop their thinking and problem-solving skills.
We are committed to providing the best possible start for our children and instil a real love of learning. Through fun, creative teaching, we aim to actively engage, inspire and enable our children to flourish and succeed.
Our Nursery Provision:
At Meadow View Academy, we offer both 15 and 30 hour nursery provision, and children can start the term after their third birthday.
We currently offer 39 30-hour places, and 16 15-hour places.

30 hour Funding Applications
Parents and carers automatically qualify for 15 hours of funded childcare; however, parents and carers can apply for an additional 15 hours of funding for 38 weeks of the school year.
The amount of free childcare you can get through Free Childcare for Working Parents depends on:
- your child’s age and circumstances
- whether you’re working (employed, self-employed, or a company director)
- your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)
- your immigration status
